Installshield Unpacker V0.99 Update
Nope amazon has a very simple download manager that downloads the game then initiates the installer when done, the only option it gives me is to open my library of games and select the game for a new download, I should have used steam, their downloader is decent but the price was better on amazon!I have tried to install it on another machine a win7 32bit, I get the same catastrophic failure at the same spot, a file called 'resident.' I don't remember the file extension.here is the screenshot of my downloaded game.
Try using this to unpack the installer, use it on setup.exe.There is a possibility something is wrong with the installer, it doesn't necessarily mean the files are corrupted. It's normal that when you combine the archives you'll need the CD as the retail archives have the Securomed launcher with the CD check. Hip hop black soul drums vsti synths. My advice is to use a third party loader, if unsure about how to get one PM me. You purchased the game and as far as I'm concerned you're perfectly within your legal and moral rights not to jump through hoops to get the goddamn things working. Also, it just occurred to me, if the unixetract manages to extract at least some files, you can try using the download version LaunchGTAIV.exe (if it's unpacked) with the retail version of the game, it should work but I'm not 100% sure about possible game version conflicts. Installshield Unpacker V0.99 Software
Exe Unpacker
I am having this issue as well. I downloaded GTA:EFLC from amazon in the past 2 - 3 weeks, I get the catastrophic error in all cases when I downloaded it. I tried using universal unpacker on the executable and it failed. It recognized the installer as InstallShield but failed on another count. I'll post the log for those inclined to read indepth.- InstallShield (By One Exe-file) Unpacker.
